I've spent 20+ years at the intersection of hard technology problems and real business outcomes — from signal intelligence systems for the Department of Defense to agentic AI frameworks that automate entire business workflows. I'm as comfortable in a whiteboard architecture session as I am in a boardroom translating that architecture into a fundraising narrative or making it land for stakeholders who need to understand it, not just approve it.
I don't believe the best ideas come from the top of the org chart. I hire smart people, create the conditions for them to do their best thinking, and make the call that's right for the company and the strategy. That's how good engineering cultures actually work.
I'm also a practitioner of AI inside the process — not just the product. I use AI tools actively across the full development lifecycle to help my teams move faster, think clearer, and ship better. It's one of the highest-leverage shifts I've seen in how engineering teams operate, and I bring that hands-on fluency with me.
I'm based in Chicago and deeply rooted in its tech community. Outside of work you'll find me on a hiking trail, on a bocce court, or hunting down a great craft coffee, an interesting beer, or a well-made cocktail. I believe in craft — in code and in a good Negroni.
